| Description |
| Granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) is a hematopoietic growth factor, which stimulates the development especially of the neutrophilic granulocyte lineage. In addition, G-CSF can enhance the survival and activate the immunological functions of mature neutrophils. G-CSF is produced mainly by monocytes and macrophages in response to specific stimulation, for instance by endotoxin, TNF-α and IFN-γ. |
