| Description |
PepTivator® C. albicans MP65 is a pool of lyophilized peptides, consisting mainly of 15-mer sequences with 11 amino acids overlap, covering the complete sequence of the Candida albicans MP65 antigen.
In vitro stimulation of antigen-specific T cells with PepTivator Peptide Pools causes the secretion of effector cytokines and the up-regulation of activation markers, which then allow the detection and isolation of antigen-specific T cells. |

Background information
C. albicans is a common fungus causing opportunistic mucosal infections. The 65-kDa mannoprotein MP65 from the cell wall of C. albicans was described as a major T cell antigen and discussed to induce protective immunity against a Candida infection.

PepTivator C. albicans MP65 – research grade has been specifically developed for efficient in vitro stimulation of C. albicans MP65–specific T cells.
