| Description |
The Indirect CD34 MicroBead Kit, formerly termed CD34 Progenitor Cell Isolation Kit, is an indirect magnetic labeling system for human CD34+ precursor cells from peripheral blood, bone marrow, leukapheresis product, or cord blood. The Indirect CD34 MicroBead Kit contains FcR Blocking Reagent to avoid unspecific labeling of cells via Fc receptors. First, cells are labeled with a hapten-modified CD34 primary antibody QBEND/10. Then, antibody-labeled cells are magnetically labeled with anti-hapten MicroBeads. Fluorescent control staining of magnetically labeled cells requires a monoclonal CD34 antibody recognizing an epitope other than QBEND/10, for example clone AC136 (see CD34 antibodies). |
| Applications |
CD34+ precursor cells isolated by MACS® Technology have been used for various studies on hematopoiesis, differentiation (e.g. generation of dendritic cells), colony formation, and surface marker expression. For information on clinical products click here. |
