Description
Clone T6D11 is specific for human CD45RA but cross-reacts with rhesus monkey (Macaca mulatta) CD45RA. The CD45RA antibody recognizes the 220 kDa isoform of the leukocyte common antigen (LCA), a transmembrane tyrosine phosphatase expressed on naive human CD4+ and CD8+ T cells as well as on CD8+ effector T cells. CD45RA is also present on subsets of B and NK cells as well as on plasmacytoid dendritic cells.
Applications
The antibody can be used to identify and enumerate CD45RA+ cells by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy. The antibody is suitable for MACS® Control applications.
