| Description |
Clone M-T411 recognizes the human CD6 antigen and cross-reacts with a subset of cells from rhesus monkey (Macaca mulatta) and cynomolgus monkey (Macaca fascicularis) PBMCs. CD6 functions as an adhesion molecule as well as costimulatory molecule for T cell receptor–mediated T cell activation. CD6 is expressed on the majority of human T cells as well as on a subset of human B cells in peripheral blood. The human CD6 antigen is also expressed at low levels on immature thymocytes and at high levels on mature thymocytes. |
| Applications |
| The CD6 antibody can be used to identify and enumerate CD6+ cells by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy. |
