| Description |
Clone 4E3 is specific for human CD25 but also cross-reacts with with CD25 of rhesus monkey (Macaca mulatta) and cynomolgus monkey (Macaca fascicularis) cells. CD25 is a 55 kDa glycoprotein and is also known as the low-affinity interleukin 2 receptor alpha chain (IL-2Rα). CD25 is expressed on human activated T and B cells and macrophages. CD25 is also present on a subset of non-activated CD4+ T cells which act as regulatory T cells. The CD25 antigen contains three epitope regions called A, B, and C. Clone 4E3 recognizes epitope region B. |
| Applications |
| The CD25 antibody can be used to identify and enumerate cells by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy. This antibody is highly suitable for MACS® Control applications after using CD25 MicroBeads. The CD25 antibody recognizes a different epitope (epitope B) than the CD25 MicroBeads (epitope A). For further details, please refer to the data sheet of the separation reagent. |
