| Description |
| Clone LT20 is specific for human CD20 antigen. It also cross-reacts with rhesus monkey (Macaca mulatta) and cynomolgus monkey (Macaca fascicularis) CD20 . CD20 is a non-glycosylated transmembrane protein of 33–37 kDa that is expressed on human B lineage cells from the pre-B cell stage to the B-cell lymphoblast stage including the majority of malignant B cells. CD20 is not found on early human B cell progenitors or plasma cells. Oligomers of CD20 form a Ca2+ channel and might have a function in regulating local responses during B cell activation. |
| Applications |
The CD20 antibody can be used to identify and enumerate CD20+ cells by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy. This antibody is suitable for MACS® Control applications. For further details, please refer to the data sheet of the separation reagent. |
