Description
This anti-human CD1c monoclonal antibody cross-reacts with CD1c on rhesus monkey (Macaca mulatta)1 and cynomolgus monkey (Macaca fascicularis) cells. In blood, CD1c is expressed on rhesus and cynomolgus monkey myeloid dendritic cells and on a subset of CD20+ B cells. The antibody has also been reported to cross-react with CD1c on pigtail monkey (Macaca nemestrina) cells.
Applications
The CD1c (BDCA-1) antibody can be used to identify and characterize CD1c (BDCA-1)+ cells by immunofluorescent staining and flow cytometric analysis.
