Description
Tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) is produced by cells that are involved in inflammatory immune responses. TNF-α is secreted by activated CD4+ T cells, monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, and neutrophils.
Applications
This Anti-TNF-α antibody has been developed for intracellular staining of TNF-α in fixed and permeabilized cells for flow cytometric analysis. Cells can be stained in suspension or by solid-phase intracellular staining technology in combination with MACS® Separation.

Figure 1
Human PBMCs were incubated with or without SEB for six hours. After two hours, brefeldin A was added. The cells were fixed, permeabilized, and intracellularly stained with Anti-TNF-α-PE. Cells were analyzed by flow cytometry. Plots show CD4+ lymphocytes gated according to CD4-FITC staining.
