Description
CD66 constitutes a gene family whose members belong to the family of carcinoembryonic antigens (CEA). They are involved in a wide variety of physiological processes such as embryonic development, pregnancy, bile transport, as well as pathological conditions such as cancer, bacterial or viral infection, and inflammation. CD66a (CEACAM1), CD66b (CEACAM8), CD66c (CEACAM6), and CD66e (CEACAM5) are differentially expressed on some epithelial cells as well as on T cells, NK cell subsets, and granulocytes, especially neutrophils. |
Applications
The antibody is suitable for the identification and enumeration of CD66abce+ human cells by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy.
Cross-reactivity

Figure 1
Human lysed blood was stained with CD66abce antibodies conjugated to FITC (A), PE (B) or APC (C) and analyzed by flow cytometry. Cell stained with CD66abce-Biotin (D) were stained with Anti-Biotin-PE in addition.
