| Description |
| The Anti-GITR, human antibody recognizes human GITR (glucocorticoid-induced TNF receptor family-regulated gene), a type I transmembrane protein also known as AITR or TNFRSF18. GITR is expressed at low levels on resting T lymphocytes but expression is upregulated upon activation. Interaction of GITR with its ligand (GITRL) has been demonstrated to augment T cell activation, proliferation and cytokine production. GITR signaling has been shown to regulate TCR-mediated apoptosis. GITR plays an important role in the function of CD4+CD25+ Tregs. |
| Applications |
Identification and enumeration of GITR+ cells by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy.
The functional grade antibody is suitable for in vitro functional assays and is free of azide and preservatives. Endotoxin level is <0.01 ng/µg protein as tested by LAL assay. |

| Human PBMCs were stained with Anti-GITR conjugated to PE (A) or Biotin (B) as well as CD4-FITC and analyzed by flow cytometry. Cells stained with Anti-GITR-Biotin were additionally stained with Anti-Biotin-PE. |
