| Description |
| Clone TĂśK4 recognizes the human CD14 antigen, a high-affinity receptor for the complex of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and LPS-binding protein (LBP). The CD14 antigen is part of the functional heteromeric LPS receptor complex comprised of CD14, TLR4, and MD-2. CD14 is strongly expressed on most human monocytes and macrophages in peripheral blood, other bodily fluids, and in various tissues such as lymph nodes and spleen. CD14 is weakly expressed on subpopulations of human neutrophils and myeloid dendritic cells. |
| Applications |
The CD14 antibody can be used to identify and enumerate CD14+ cells by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy. This antibody is suitable for MACS® Control applications. For further details, please refer to the data sheet of the separation reagent. |
