Description
The clone AC136 recognizes a Class III epitope of the CD34 antigen. The very bright staining intensity allows the identification and the exact enumeration of human progenitor cells in peripheral blood, bone marrow, and cord blood samples.
Applications
The CD34 antibody can be used to identify and enumerate CD34+ cells by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy. The monoclonal antibody clone AC136 recognizes a different epitope than the clone QBEND/10 used in MACSĀ® CD34 MicroBead Kits and is therefore suitable for use in MACSĀ® Control applications. For further details, please refer to the data sheet of the separation reagent. This antibody can also be used for quality control staining of CD133+ cells isolated with the CD133 MicroBead Kit.
