Description
Clone 293C3 recognizes epitope 2 of the human CD133 antigen (CD133/2). The CD133 antigen is expressed on stem and progenitor cells with hematopoietic and nonhematopoietic differentiation potential. Four monoclonal antibodies recognizing the CD133 antigen are available: clone AC133 (mouse IgG1), W6B3C1 (mouse IgG1), 293C3 (mouse IgG2b), and AC141 (mouse IgG1). These antibodies recognize two different epitopes CD133/1 (clone AC133 and clone W6B3C1) and CD133/2 (clone 293C3 and clone AC141), respectively.
Applications
Clone 293C3 can be used to identify and enumerate CD133+ cells by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy. This antibody is suitable for MACS® Control applications. For further details, please refer to the data sheet of the separation reagent.
