Description
CD57 MicroBeads were developed for the separation of human CD57-expressing cells. The CD57 antigen, also known as HNK-1 or Leu-7, is an oligosaccharide antigenic moiety bound to surface proteins of certain cell types. CD57 is present on 15–20% of PBMCs1, including subsets of NK cells and T cells. Also, CD57 expression can be found on a variety of neural cell types.1,2
Applications
CD57 MicroBeads can be used for positive selection and depletion of CD57+ cells from PBMCs or other single-cell suspensions.

Figure 1
CD57+ cells were isolated from human PBMCs using CD57 MicroBeads, an MS Column, and a MiniMACS™ Separator. Cells were stained with CD57-APC and analyzed by flow cytometry.
