Anti-Cytokeratin (CK3-6H5)
|
Description
The Anti-Cytokeratin (CK3-6H5) antibody is a pan-cytokeratin–specific antibody targeting cytokeratins from simple epithelia. It crossblocks Cam5.21, an antibody specific for cytokeratin 7 and 8, and has been shown to react with native cytokeratin preparations containing cytokeratins 8, 18, and 19 as well as with recombinant cytokeratin 8.
Applications
Anti-Cytokeratin (CK3-6H5) is suitable for immunohistochemistry and Western blotting. It is used for intracellular staining of epithelial tissue and detection of epithelium-derived tumor cells in non-epithelial environment.

Paraffin-embedded tissue section of a breast carcinoma was stained with Anti-Cytokeratin (CK3-6H5) pure. The detection was performed using an anti-isotype antibody and an biotin/avidin-horseradish peroxidase system.
