Description
The Memory CD4+ T Cell Isolation Kit is an indirect magnetic labeling system for the isolation of untouched memory T helper cells from human peripheral blood. For magnetic depletion of naive T cells, CD8+ T cells, B cells, NK cells, γ/δ T cells, monocytes, DCs, granulocytes, platelets, and erythroid cells, PBMCs are incubated with a cocktail of biotinylated CD45RA, CD8, CD14, CD16, CD19, CD56, CD36, CD123, anti-TCRγ/δ, and CD235a (glycophorin A) antibodies. These cells are subsequently magnetically labeled with Anti-Biotin MicroBeads for depletion. The Memory CD4+ T Cell Isolation Kit provides a fast and efficient way to isolate untouched memory CD4+ T cells.
Applications
CD4+ memory T cells isolated with the Memory CD4+ T Cell Isolation Kit are used when direct labeling of cell surface molecules could interfere with downstream applications, e.g., in studies on memory T helper cell activation. Untouched memory CD4+ T cells can also be used for further isolation of specific subsets, such as CCR8+/– cells1.
