Description

The CD294 (CRTH2) MicroBead Kit, formerly known as Anti-CRTH2 MicroBead Kit, is an indirect magnetic labeling system for the enrichment of CD294⁺ cells. The CD294⁺cells are fluorescently and indirectly magnetically labeled with CD294-PE and Anti-PE MicroBeads.
CD294, also known as CRTH2, is a receptor for prostaglandin D₂. CD294 is expressed on T helper type 2 (T_H2) cells, a subpopulation of CD4⁺ T cells, but is not present on T_H1 cells. CD294 is highly expressed on peripheral blood basophils and eosinophils. Furthermore, it is present on a small population of CD8⁺ T cells as well as on a subpopulation of dendritic cells.

Applications

The CD294 (CRTH2) MicroBead Kit can be used for positive selection or depletion of CD294⁺ cells. For isolation of the CD294⁺ T helper cell subset, the CD294 (CRTH2) MicroBead Kit can be combined with the CD4⁺ T Cell Isolation Kit II or the CD4 MultiSort Kit. A special protocol is available.

For positive selection: MS, LS, XS, or autoMACS™ Columns. For depletion: LD, CS, D, or autoMACS Columns.
