| Description |
Anti-iNKT MicroBeads have been developed for the positive selection of human invariant natural killer T cells (iNKT cells) based on the expression of the TCR α-chain Vα24-Jα18. Due to the nature of the antibody, a limited degree of pre-activation of target cells might occur after separation with this product. |

Background information iNKT cells represent a distinct lymphocyte population, characterized by expression of an invariant T cell receptor α-chain and certain TCR β-chains (Vα24-Jα18 combined with Vβ11). iNKT cells are involved in immunoregulatory processes such as tolerance, host defense, and tumor surveillance. |

| The iNKT cells were isolated from human PBMCs using Anti-iNKT MicroBeads, two MS Columns, and a MiniMACS™ Separator. Cells were fluorescently stained with Anti-iNKT-PE, CD3-APC, and CD45-FITC and analyzed using the MACSQuant® Analyzer. Gating was performed according to CD45 expression and side scatter properties of the cells. |
