| Description |
| The CD69 MicroBead Kit II was developed for positive selection or depletion of activated T cells or B cells, or NK cells from PBMCs, lymphatic tissues, or cultured cells. |
| Details |
Background information CD69 is expressed on activated T cells, B cells, and NK cells, but not on resting lymphocytes. CD69 is a cell surface protein which is rapidly up-regulated after lymphocyte activation. CD69 is also expressed on activated macrophages and other cell types including neutrophils, eosinophils, and platelets. For the isolation of CD69+ cell subsets, the CD69 MicroBead Kit II can be combined with MACS® Cell Isolation Kits or MultiSort Kits.
Detailed separation procedure CD69+ cells are labeled with CD69-Biotin and Anti-Biotin MicroBeads. |
| Columns |
For positive selection: MS, LS, XS, or autoMACS Columns. For depletion: LD, CS, D, or autoMACS Columns. |

| PBMCs were stimulated for 2 hours with CytoStim. Subsequently, CD69+ cells were isolated using the CD69 MicroBead Kit II, an LS Column, and a MidiMACS™ Separator. The cells are fluorescently stained with Anti-Biotin-PE, for identification of CD69+ cells, and CD4-FITC. |
