| Description |
| CD6 MicroBeads were developed for positive selection or depletion of human CD6+ cells from peripheral blood, lymph nodes, thymus, spleen, and cultured cells. |
| Details |
Background information CD6 is expressed on the majority of T cells as well as on a subset of B cells in peripheral blood. The CD6 antigen is also expressed at low levels on immature thymocytes and at high levels on mature thymocytes. CD6 functions as an adhesion molecule which mediates the interaction of developing thymocytes with thymic epithelial cells. Downstream applications CD6 MicroBeads can be used for positive selection or depletion of CD6+ T and B cells from peripheral blood, lymph nodes, thymus, spleen, and cultured cells. CD6 MicroBeads can be used for studies on T cell depletion in allogeneic stem cell transplantation. |
