The PIQORâ„¢ Oncology Microarray has been developed with international experts in the field of immuno-oncology, within the framework of the European Cancer Immunome Program (EUCIP, www.eurice.de/eucip). The results of this joint approach provide new insights into cancer-associated genotypic and phenotypic alterations.
PIQOR Oncology Microarray represents an upgrade of PIQOR EUCIP Microarrays, which have been used to profile hundreds of breast, lung, and colon tumor as well as normal samples. The microarray consists of immuno-oncologically relevant and tumor-associated genes with a focus on more than 600 SEREX-derived genes. The SEREX technique1 comprises the serological analysis of cDNA expression libraries to identify human tumor antigens eliciting a spontaneous humoral immune response in cancer patients. Therefore, SEREX genes may play an important role in tumor growth.
In addition, genes were selected from previously published data and public databases, related to different cancer types like breast, lung, colon, kidney, prostate, and liver cancer, leukemia and lymphoma. These genes are involved in important oncological pathways, for example apoptosis pathway, major MAP Kinase pathways, NFκB and JAK-STAT pathways. PIQOR Oncology Microarray is available as a convenient microarray kit or within the scope of Microarray Service. Please see download area for "Further information"
