| Whole Blood CD45 MicroBeads |
|
| Description |
Whole Blood CD45 MicroBeads were developed for rapid positive selection of CD45+ cells directly from whole blood or bone marrow. No sample preparation is required, including density gradient centrifugation or erythrocyte lysis. Anticoagulated cell samples of 0.25–15 mL are labeled with Whole Blood CD45 MicroBeads to be subsequently separated with the autoMACS™ Pro Separator or the autoMACS Separator, or using the Whole Blood Column Kit. The CD45 antigen is expressed on all cells of hematopoietic origin except erythrocytes, platelets, and their precursor cells. |
| Applications |
Whole Blood MicroBeads allow the fast isolation of CD45+ cells directly from whole blood or bone marrow, thus minimizing hands-on time and maximizing yield of target cells. Whole Blood MicroBeads in combination with the autoMACS™ Separators allow standardization of the cell separation procedure and safe handling of hazardous samples. The purified CD45+ cells are well-suited for further flow cytometric, functional, or molecular analysis including chimerism analysis after allogeneic stem cell transplantation1.
