Overview
CD123 MicroBeads have been developed for the concurrent isolation of human basophilic granulocytes and plasmacytoid dendritic cells.
Details
Background information In peripheral blood, the CD123 antigen is expressed at high levels only on plasmacytoid dendritic cells and basophilic granulocytes. By contrast, monocytes, eosinophilic granulocytes, myeloid dendritic cells, and subsets of hematopoietic progenitor cells express CD123 only at low levels. Applications Positive selection of human basophilic granulocytes and plasmacytoid dendritic cells. |

CD123+ basophils and plasmacytoid dendritic cells were isolated from human PBMCs using CD123 MicroBeads and two MS Columns. Cells were fluorescently stained with CD123-PE, CD203c-APC, and CD303 (BDCA-2)-FITC, and analyzed by flow cytometry.
