| Description |
| Fibroblast colony-forming units (CFU-Fs) represent stem and progenitor cells with nonhematopoietic differentiation potential. The CFU-F assay, a well-established method for the enumeration of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs), is the ideal mode to evaluate the MSC content of bone marrow (BM) samples and aspiration procedures, or the content of MSCs within other tissues. MACS® NH CFU-F Medium is a convenient (pre-aliquoted), ready-to-use medium that is manufactured under strictly controlled conditions using the highest quality ingredients. MACS® NH CFU-F Media offer consistent lot-to-lot performance and optimimal conditions for the cultivation of CFU-Fs. |
| Applications |
MACS NH CFU-F Medium is used for the enumeration of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) from human BM samples or other tissues, or for the evaluation of BM aspiration procedures.
One rack containing 24 vials is sufficient to perform up to 12 assays in duplicate. For large-scale CFU-F assays, the use of NH Expansion Medium is recommended. |
