CS and D Columns
Description CS and D Columns are designed for optimal depletion of large cell numbers. CS Columns can be used with the VarioMACS™, or SuperMACS™ Separators. D Columns fit into SuperMACS Separators. The column matrix is composed of ferromagnetic fibers covered with a cell-friendly plastic coating. The columns are packed in a sterile way. By using the different flow resistors supplied with the columns, the flow rate can be adjusted allowing efficient depletion even of cells that express the separation marker dimly. A special adapter is supplied with the SuperMACS II Separator to insert CS and D Columns into the magnetic field. Column extensions are required for the assembly of CS Columns when used with the SuperMACS or SuperMACS II Separation Unit.
