Description
The Anti-APC MultiSort Kit provides a flexible tool for the sorting of cells according to multiple surface markers, when APC-conjugated primary antibodies are to be used for the first-parameter sorting. The bright fluorescence intensity of APC-conjugated antibodies makes the Anti-APC MultiSort Kit especially useful for separation and subsequent detection of cells with weakly expressed markers. Cells are first stained with an APC-conjugated primary antibody and subsequently magnetically labeled with Anti-APC MultiSort MicroBeads. Following positive selection, the magnetic particles are removed from the cells by using the MultiSort Release Reagent. The cell population can then be magnetically labeled and sorted using a second marker of interest. This is achieved by labeling the cells directly or indirectly with MACS® MicroBeads.
Applications
The Anti-APC MultiSort Kit is recommended if a positive selection according to two cell surface antigens is desired and when the first selection marker is stained with an APC-conjugated primary antibody.
