Description
Anti-Allophycocyanin (APC) MicroBeads are used for the indirect magnetic labeling and separation of cells labeled with APC-conjugated primary antibodies, peptides, or ligands. The APC molecule is recognized by the monoclonal anti-APC antibody coupled to MicroBeads. Anti-APC MicroBeads are an excellent tool for positive selection or depletion of fluorescently labeled material. Subsequent flow cytometric analysis can be performed without any further staining.
Applications
Anti-APC MicroBeads can be used for the separation of any cell type stained with an APC-conjugated primary antibody. In general, a very bright fluorescence staining is obtained when using APC-conjugated primary antibodies, which makes Anti-APC MicroBeads especially suitable for the separation and subsequent detection of cells with weakly expressed markers. Anti-APC MicroBeads are also recommended for the enrichment of antigen-specific T cells after labeling with APC-conjugated peptide/MHC-tetramers.
