| Description |
| Rat Anti-TCR (T Cell Receptor) γ/δ MicroBeads have been developed for positive selection or depletion of TCRγ/δ+ T cells from blood, lymphoid tissue, or non-lymphoid tissue, such as gut and liver. |
| Details |
Background information The epitope recognized by Anti-TCRγ/δ MicroBeads is expressed on more than 90% of TCRγ/δ+ T cells, which are TCRα/β-, CD2+, CD3+, and CD5+. Almost all cells within this population express CD8a, but not CD4. The TCR complex recognized by these MicroBeads is also found on a subpopulation of intestinal intra‑epithelial lymphocytes. Downstream applications Magnetically separated TCRγ/δ+ T cells can be used to investigate their role in immune defense, for example, in comparison to TCRα/β+ T cells. |
