Overview
The antibody is suitable for the identification and enumeration of human CD45RO+ cells by flow cytometry and fluorescence microscopy. CD45RO antibodies are commonly used in combination with antibodies against CD45RA to discriminate memory T cells from naive T cells.

Background information Clone UCHL1 reacts with human CD45RO, a 180 kDa isoform of CD45. CD45RO is expressed by most thymocytes, activated and memory T cells, granulocytes and monocytes. The ligand of CD45RO is CD22. |

Figure 1
Human PBMCs were stained with CD45RO antibodies conjugated to FITC (A), PE (B), APC (C), PerCP (D), PE-Vio770 (E) or APC-Vio770 (F) as well as with CD45RA-APC or -PE and analyzed by flow cytometry using the MACSQuant® Analyzer. Cells labeled with CD45RO-Biotin (G) were stained with Anti-Biotin-PE as well as CD45RA-APC. Cell debris and dead cells were excluded from the analysis based on scatter signals and propidium iodide fluorescence.
