The GLAST1 knockout mouse is a mouse disease model based on the disruption of the Slc1a3 gene encoding the GLAST1 protein, Slc1a3, and can be used as an ideal control in conjunction with Anti-GLAST (ACSA-1) products.

The EAAC1 knockout mouse is a genetically modified mouse strain in which the gene of this member of the superfamily of the glutamate/aspartate transport proteins has been disrupted. The EAAC1 knockout mouse shows reduced spontaneous locomotor activity.
