Viscover™ offers you NiraWave™ optical contrast agents – novel dyes and nanomaterials that are ideal for the study of vascular fine structure and disease-related vascular changes.
NiraWave C is the animal imaging formulation of the tried and tested indocyanine green agent from human clinical practice. It is a versatile dye that has been used for angiography (eye), organ perfusion, rheumatology diagnostics and photodynamic therapy research.
NiraWave M is a unique micellar formulation of NiraWave C with a long circulation time ideal for optical angiography and the study of vascular leakage in inflammation (e.g. rheumatic disease) and tumors. It has a high apparent molecular weight and stays confined in healthy vasculature for more than one hour. However, it passes through fenestrated blood vessels.
NiraWave nano 780 is a nanoparticulate optical imaging agent for the visualization of vascular fine structure as well as liver and spleen. As a nanoparticulate dye it has excellent optical properties, a high Stokes-shift and resistance against bleaching, yet its size is optimal for a prolonged vascular circulation time. |
