ExiTron™ contrast agents have been specifically developed for providing micro-CT with long sought-after soft-tissue contrast. Novel nanomaterials help extend the application range of any micro-CT far beyond mere bone scans.
All ExiTron agents have the same low injection volume of 100 μl for added tolerability in the animal compared to conventional agents.
ExiTron nano is an innovative nanoparticle agent for liver imaging, detection of liver tumors and metastases, and CT angiography. ExiTron nano 6000 is quickly taken up by macrophages in liver and spleen and allows visualization of the liver for several weeks after injection.
The double concentrated formulation, ExiTron nano 12000, has been optimized for high-resolution CT angiography.
ExiTron P is a long-circulating polymeric agent for high-resolution CT angiography (CTA). Its high molecular weight organic polymer gives you long circulation and acquisition times, ideal for visualizing microvessels.
ExiTron U is a classical monomeric non-ionic extracellular CT contrast agent for CT angiography (CTA). It is the animal imaging formulation of the tried and tested iopromide agent that has long been used in human clinical practice.
ExiTron V is a classical dimeric non-ionic extracellular CT contrast agent for CT angiography (CTA). It is the animal imaging formulation of the tried and tested iodixanol agent that has long been used in human clinical practice.
