CD16 MicroBeads
Description CD16 MicroBeads have been developed for the separation of NK cells from rhesus monkey PBMCs. CD16 is expressed on the majority of rhesus monkey NK cells1 and on a subset of monocytes. Applications Non-human primate CD16 MicroBeads can be used for positive selection of NK cells after monocyte depletion with CD56 MicroBeads (CD16+CD56- NK cell subset) or CD14 MicroBeads. CD16+ NK cells can, for example, be used for studies on NK cell cytotoxicity or signal transduction. CD16 MicroBeads are suitable for depletion of NK cells, e.g., prior to positive selection of cytotoxic T cells using the CD8 MicroBead Kit. Columns For positive selection: MS, LS, XS, or autoMACSâ„¢ Columns. For depletion: LD, CS, D, or autoMACS Columns. As some rhesus monkey monocytes express CD16, monocytes1 as well as a minor subset of CD56+ NK cells2 were depleted by using CD56 MicroBeads prior to positive selection of CD16+ cells.
