MACS® Cytokine Secretion Assays are designed for highly sensitive detection as well as optional enrichment of viable cytokine-secreting cells. This unique technology allows: - Detection of secreted cytokines on single-cell level
- Simultaneous phenotyping of cytokine-secreting cells for more detailed information on subsets and activation status
- Detection of coexpression of two different cytokines or simultaneous staining with peptide-MHC tetramers for functional analysis of the cells
- Optional magnetic enrichment of viable cytokine-secreting cells for enhanced sensitivity of one antigen-specific T cell per million cells or downstream applications (MACS® Secretion Assays - Enrichment and Detection Kits)
For polyclonal activation of human T cells, Miltenyi Biotec offers CytoStim and the T Cell Activation/Expansion Kit. Antigen-specific stimulation can be achieved with the CMV pp65 - Recombinant Protein or the NEW PepTivator - CMV pp65, a peptide pool for CMV pp65-specific T cell stimulation. |
