MACS® Separation of nonhematopoietic stem and progenitor cells Nonhematopoietic stem cells from bone marrow, termed marrow stromal cells (MSCs), were shown to have a broad differentiation potential and immunosuppressive capabilities. For the standardization of research with these cells, Miltenyi Biotec offers the MSC Research Tool Box – CD271 (LNGFR), the complete solution for efficient enrichment and optimized cultivation of MSCs from bone marrow. Furthermore, the CD271 (LNGFR) MicroBead Kit, the CD133 MicroBead Kit, CD117 MicroBead Kit, CD105 MicroBeads and Anti-Fibroblast MicroBeads can all be used for the isolation of MSCs from bone marrow. For the depletion of lineage committed cells, the Lineage Cell Depletion Kit can be used. Quantitation, expansion and differentiation of bone marrow-derived nonhematopoietic stem cells can be performed at ease with MACS® NH Stem Cell Media.
