Based on the well-established MACS® Technology a wide variety of solutions for isolation and detection of proteins and molecular complexes is available.

Sensitivity - even rare proteins can be isolated
Extremely small, superparamagnetic, and non-sedimenting: µMACS MicroBeads are only about 50nm in diameter and instandly bind to their target, resulting in more captured target proteins per sample. Direct washing of magnetically-labeled proteins in a MACS Column reduces loss of target protein during tube-to-tube transfer of precious samples. The renowned in-column technology even facilitates purification of interacting partners and fragile molecular complexes.
Specificity - minimum background binding
µMACS MicroBeads come conjugated with monoclonal antibodies or other proven binding moieties, such as Streptavidin, Protein A, or Protein G allowing a highly specific isolation of target proteins.
Speed - less than 2 hours to pure protein
Binding of µMACS MicroBeads to their target proteins occur extremely rapid. Time-consuming centrifugation and tedious pre-clearing steps are unnecessary; the magnetically-labeled sample is ready for specific protein isolation. All binding, washing, and elution steps are performed in a single MACS Column.

Isolation of biotinylated proteins and their interaction partners
The versatile µMACS Streptavidin MicroBeads employs the strength of the streptavidin-biotin interaction combined with the gentleness of the MACS Column technology to capture and purify biotinylated molecules and potential interaction partners.

Immunoprecipitation (IP) and Co-IP of any protein
µMACS Protein A and G Microbeads were developed for analytical small scale immunoprecipitation or Co-IP with almost any antibody.

Native isolation of transcription factors
The FactorFinder Kit is a unique system for the isolation of any DNA-binding transcription factor with an individual, biotinylated DNA.

Medium- to large-scale recombinant protein isolation
The ProCatch His and Glutathione Resins are new affinity materials with enhanced properties to purify His-tagged or Glutathione-binding proteins such as GST.
