| MACS® Separation from whole blood |

|
MACS® Whole Blood MicroBeads allow automated magnetic cell sorting directly from whole blood or bone marrow. The Whole Blood MicroBeads are simply added to anticoagulated blood samples; leukocyte subsets are subsequently purified by using the autoMACS™ Pro Separator or the autoMACS Separator. Pre-enrichment of white blood cells, e.g., by density gradient centrifugation, is not required. The purified cells are well-suited for further flow cytometric analysis, molecular biology studies such as lineage-specific chimerism analysis, and functional studies such as cytotoxicity testings.
