Miltenyi Biotec training courses are provided through MACS Academy.
Registration
Registration for a face-to-face training course is performed online through the webpage www.miltenyibiotec.com/training. A booking confirmation is send to the registrant by e-mail.
In case a training class is fully booked, customers can send an e-mail to be added to a waitlist.
Registration will close three (3) business days before the first day of the class.
Cancellation Policy
Course cancellation by customer
Cancellations received at least 21 days prior to the class start date will receive a full refund or will not be charged. Customers who cancel later than 21 days before the class will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% off the training fees. A cancellation later than 7 days before the class or non-attendance will result in full billing. Rescheduling into another training session is possible till 21 days prior to the class start date. Attendance by a replacement person is free of charge.
Course cancellation by Miltenyi Biotec
Miltenyi Biotec may cancel courses if minimum enrollment is not met or other circumstances make it impractical to hold the course. If a course is cancelled, Miltenyi Biotec will refund the course fee in full or provide an alternative date for the course. In most cases, Miltenyi Biotec will be able to notify registrants at least 21 days prior to the start of class of a course cancellation. Customers agree that Miltenyi Biotec will not be liable for any expense or fees incurred by customers due to such cancellation. Accordingly, the purchase of non-refundable airline tickets is not recommended.

Corporate Purchase Order
When training is purchased with the purchase of a different product e.g. an instrument, or when customers choose to pay for the training course with a purchase order, this purchase order number should be filled in at the time of the online registration. Customer in US and Canada have to provide a purchase order number for booking of face-to-face training.
Invoice
After the training course has been completed, customers will receive an invoice.
Course content
Training courses are performed according to schedule and description. Content, particularly updated information, as well as location, time and presenter are subject to change.
Course Inclusions
Course materials
Each Participant receives training documentation and materials (course materials) in different media. Customer and Participant(s) acknowledge that the course materials are proprietary and confidential to Miltenyi Biotec, its subsidiaries or distributors, and is protected by international laws of copyright and agree not to copy, modify, or merge the course materials, in whole or in part, or create derivatives thereof and agree not to remove any proprietary, copyright, trade secret or warning legend from the Course Materials. Any audio or video recording of the training course and the presentations is not permitted.
Training courses at the facility of the customer include printed and electronic course material for three persons. An additional 4th person will require a further training day, 6 participants will require a further training day, to ensure hands-on practice time for every participant.
Laboratory equipment, materials, and reagents are provided for courses at a Miltenyi Biotec MACS Academy.
For training courses at the facility of the customer, laboratory equipment and materials have to be provided by the customer while supply of reagents has to be detailed during planning of the course.
Participants who completed the Training Course will receive a course certificate.
Accomodation
Training courses at a Miltenyi Biotec MACS Academy can include hotel accommodation as specified with the specific training course. Additional nights can be booked directly at the hotel if available. If hotel accommodation is not required, please note this in the comments field of the registration.
Accomodation of the participant in the training hotel can be guaranteed for training bookings 6 weeks in advance of the training start only. Later registration may result in booking of a different hotel without shuttle service to the training facility.
Travel expenses
Travel expenses of trainer and equipment are included in training courses at the facility of the customer if not specified otherwise.
Travel expenses of training participants travelling to and back from a Miltenyi Biotec MACS Academy are not reimbursed except for US customers booked at MACS Academy Auburn, CA. Where travel expenses are included, some restrictions may apply. Shuttle services for attendees accommodated at the training hotel are included throughout the training course.
Meals
Hotel accommodation includes breakfast. Lunch, coffee, tea, softdrinks and snacks are provided each training day at the training facility.
Dinner and evening excursions are provided as specified for the training course.
Special requirements, like vegetarian diet or wheelchair access should be indicated with the registration form.
Participants shall pay for all other participant(s)' expenses.
