From cell lines to primary cells 

With ten years of microarray-experience, the Genomic Service Team ensures optimal processing of cell samples by applying well-proven protocols to cell lines or cells sorted by flow cytometry or MACS® Technology.
MACS® Magnetic MicroBeads are perfect companions for the downstream gene expression analysis. The fast and easy cell separation procedure is pivotal for highly reproducible and accurate gene expression profiling.
This synergy of MACS technology and genomic analysis is called MACS-4-omics.
 
Even in cases where only small numbers of cells are obtained by cell sorting, it is still possible to perform reliable microarray analysis  with the SuperAmp™ Service in combination with the Agilent Whole Genome Microarray Platform.

SuperAmp™ Technology is also the basic prerequisite for microarray analysis of cells obtained by LCM (Laser Capture Microdissection), a demanding starting material due to the low number of selected cells.
The Genomic Services Team has used SuperAmp Technology for numerous LCM samples and is aware of the pitfalls during the sample collection.

We can provide you with qualified recommendations which are summarized in our guidelines for cell sample preparation and submission.
