Agilent's high performance inkjet synthesis process – called SurePrint Technology - produces exceptional 60-mer oligonucleotide microarray probes that deliver unsurpassed sensitivity. This technology detects very low-abundance transcripts even with low sample input amounts down to 100 ng total RNA and only one round of amplification avoiding the risk of amplification bias.
For even lower amounts of starting material we have developed the unique SuperAmp Technology to allow for gene expression analysis down to a few cells only.
Agilent’s microarray platform provides a dynamic range of signal intensity measurements over five orders of magnitude. As a result the platform produces accurate relative quantification of gene expression at a level far exceeding the sensitivity of other array platforms.
